Youth Employment Services Job Readiness Workshop Series

Great for students who are looking for part-time or summer jobs and are interested in gaining important skills for their future! This is a three part workshop that will focus on the following: Employment Training Skills, Personal Finances, Mock interviews, and more!

This event takes place at lunch time in Room 146




Global Street Food

Join Surfas for a culinary tour of the best food trucks, carts, and kiosks from around the world! The Chef Instructor will introduce you to south-of-the-border favorites, Indian pastries, and French crepes. You will also learn how to make several salsas, sauces, and chutneys. Hone your skills and explore the global tastes of street food, no passport required!

As a required part of the development of a closure plan specific to Fairview, DDS is seeking public comment from interested persons and organizations. Public comments will be summarized in the closure plan to be submitted by April 1, 2016, for Legislative approval.

Pirates of Penzance

Renowned for songs like “I am a Pirate King!” and “I am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General,” Gilbert and Sullivan’s beloved comic operetta features dashing pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers and an eccentric major-general. This production for kids ages 5-11, including costumes and projected visuals, features both professional singers and talented students from Chapman University.

First Friday Roadshow

Family fun car show that features classics, customs and exotics. Takes place in front of City Hall from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
